GIRIMONTE, Antonio 67 years. It is with great sadness
that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved husband, father, son, nonno and brother, on November 14,
2008, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and soulmate of 44 years to Maria (nee Arcuri). Loving
and devoted father to Caterina Spanic and husband Gus of Amherstburg, Sam Girimonte and wife Susan of Windsor,
Franco Girimonte and wife Kerri of Lakeshore, and Angela Menefee and husband Kevin of Maryland, U.S.A. Adored
Nonno to Stephanie, Anthony, Anth-ony, Tony, Alek, Ellie, Rachel, and Joseph. Cherished son of Caterina
Girimonte and her late husband Salvatore (1979). Dear brother to Rosetta and Aurelio Paglia, Maria and Luigi
Albano, Gabriel and Nancy Girimonte, Filomena and Antonio Delicata, Giovanni and Ruth Girimonte, Luigi and
Elena Girimonte, Franco and Sylvia Girimonte, Theresa and Angelo Secreti, and Anna and David Kostiuk. Dear
brother- in-law to Rosina and Giovanni Romano, Salvatore and Bridget Arcuri, and Giuseppina and Giovanni
Laratta. Predeceased by sister-in-law Filomena and husband Francesco Marasco. Also surviving are many nieces
and nephews in Canada, U.S.A., and Italy. Antonio was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada after 33 years of
dedicated service and a member of CAW Local 444. Funeral Services from the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700
Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, November 17, 2008, at 8:45 am then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at
9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to
the Autism Society of Ontario, Windsor-Essex Chapter or Family Respite Services would be appreciated by the
family.
